Porsche & Ferrari Climate Control · CCU / HVAC

Climate control acting up?
We bring back the unit the dealer no longer sells.

The climate control unit is the brain of your car's HVAC system, and after decades the original electronics fail, while dealers list these units as obsolete and no longer available. We manufacture our own circuit boards, carry the cosmetic parts, and rebuild your unit better than OEM, backed by a 5-year warranty.

  • We manufacture the circuit boards
  • Cosmetic parts in stock
  • 5-year warranty

Models We Cover

Obsolete climate control units, remanufactured

Most of these units are discontinued and no longer available from the dealer. Because we manufacture the circuit boards in-house and stock the cosmetic parts, we can bring yours back to better-than-new, or supply a remanufactured exchange.

Check these before blaming the CCU

Some HVAC symptoms come from downstream parts. Depending on your symptom, verify these first so you fix the right thing.

Blower motor & resistor

A dead blower mimics fan control failure

Servo motors & flaps

Stuck flaps cause temperature and airflow issues

Refrigerant level

Low charge means no cold air even with a good CCU

Compressor clutch

A clutch that won't engage stops the A/C cold

Pressure switch

Can block compressor operation as a safety measure

Temperature sensors

Bad inputs make the CCU chase phantom readings

Wiring & grounds

Corroded connections cause intermittent behavior

Footwell / cabin fan

A seized internal fan skews cabin temp readings

Why They Fail & Why The Dealer Can't Help

Decades old, model-specific, and no longer supported

After 25 to 40 years, every one of these units fails in its own way. The 964 and 993 develop a shutdown-circuit fault that never lets the unit power down, quietly draining the battery overnight. The 944 and 968 simply age out: the electronics stop responding to switch inputs, so buttons and knobs do nothing. The Ferrari 355's blend and recycle-flap motors quit and the fan knob goes unresponsive. And the 996's display fades until it's unreadable.

Here's the part that traps most owners: the dealer's answer is a part number that no longer exists. These units are discontinued and can't be reordered. That's exactly the gap we fill. We manufacture our own upgraded circuit boards, rewrite the software to fix the parasitic fault codes and abrupt fan-speed jumps the factory never resolved, and stock the cosmetic parts to finish the job, so a discontinued unit comes back better than the original.

What The Service Includes

Rebuilt better than the OEM part

This isn't a patch repair. Internal boards are replaced with new, upgraded designs we manufacture, and the cosmetics come back looking like they left the factory yesterday.

Boards we manufacture

We design and build our own upgraded circuit boards with new SMD components, not salvaged or patched OEM parts.

Battery drain eliminated

Redesigned hardware fully prevents the shutdown-circuit failure that drains batteries overnight.

Enhanced software

Software matched to your model and year, with fixes for the parasitic codes and abrupt fan-speed jumps the factory never resolved.

Screen & display restored

Faded or unreadable screens, like the 996, are replaced with new high-quality displays and full brightness restored.

Cosmetic parts in stock

Front faceplates, switch holder brackets, knobs, and switches available so your unit looks factory-fresh, quoted after we assess condition.

Full diagnostics enabled

Where the original couldn't even be scanned, our units enable fault-code reading, activations, and live sensor values.
