Porsche 996 Immobilizer Removal (for Racing*):
The Immo Removal service is a software and hardware upgrade that we do on the ECU to emulate Immobilizer Box's (also called Alarm Box or CLU) "permission" to start the car.
This is done by installing our proprietary Immobilizer Removal Memory Adapter under the CPU which imitates the Immobilizer's signal to the DME. Afterwards. no programming is required; your Porsche 996 ECU will be ready to be plugged onto the car to start and run.
* This upgrade should be used for race cars only since the CEL will come on.
** You must keep the Immobilizer Box in the car for the door locks, interior lights and windows to work as usual.
When you send us the DME, send us the DME Set (DME, Alarm Box/Immobilizer, and 1 Key)

Is your Immobilizer water damaged?
If YES, then you need to first replace the immobilizer BEFORE you think about bypassing the "drive-blocking" fuctions of the ECU. That is becuase the Immo controls a lot of "accessory" functions of your car such as: brake lights, turning signals, door locks, power windows, convertible top, scanner communication to the DME, among many others.
In other words, if you remove the immobilizer from the car, without replacing the wet immobilizer in your car, you will still be missing all the accessory functions necessary to operate your car like you normally would AND you will never be able to scan the ECU for fault codes.
My car is in perfect running condition, and I want to convert it into a race car. How will this upgrade help?
If all your immobilizer functions are working properly, then this upgrade will work for you to be able to start the car every single time regardless if your key transponder is working or not.
This is GREAT for racing applications in order to simplify how a 986/996 operates to start the engine and run the car.
You could even install a push-start button in the car if you desired.
